Será este aqui:Fio/Yarn: Bought in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Agulha/Needle: 5mm, US8

Detalhes estão no Ravelry. Quem ainda não fez esta receita, faça. É muito gostosa! Mas farei agora um tamanho menor...

Well, remember that I didn't know what to knit next? So, now I know. The picture is my next project. Details on Ravelry. This pattern is really nice to knit, and I will do it in the smaller size. About the red sweater? I will frog right away!

Helping who need...

"Tricoteiras" launched a campaign (Projeto Pé Quente) to help elderly people abandoned by their families during this winter (yes, we are in the winter). The idea is to knit slippers which will be donated to Lar Bussocaba Assistência Vicentina in Osasco-SP. More than 70% of the elderly people who live there don't receive any visit from their family, and half of them have psicological problems. If you can, please send slippers until August 8th,2008 to:

They have a very easy pattern in their website. I will post other easy pattern here later .

Silvia's Baby Hat

This hat is very easy to make. You can use scrap yarn you have at home, and even a different size of needles (just cast on less stitches).
Yarn: Anyone to needles US21/2-4
Needle: US2,5 to US4
Cast on 90 stitches, and knit in 2x2 rib for 3/4 inch. Change to Stockinette (or another st that you prefer) for aprox.12-13inches and bind off. Sew at the top and at the side, to make a rectangle. At each top side, put a pompom. That's it! Very easy!

Only girls?

Yarn: Desejo
Needle: US7; 4,5mm
São uma graça, e muito fáceis de fazer (Cute, and very easy to knit)

Yarn: Cisne Premiun in blue (white details with Familia)
Needle: US8; 5mm

Onesie by Knit Simple Magazine
Yarn: Cisne Elegance in gray (white details with Familia)
Needle: US8; 5mm

You should be thinking that I only knit for girls, right? Noop.... Last year, all my friends, cousins, and sister had baby boys... So know, I am trying to compensate just a little bit...

Have a look at some of my FO in the pictures above!

E agora ?

A) Xale

B) Casaco vermelho
Problema: Este casaco é tricotado Top-down e está empapando debaixo do braço
Resultado: Aguardando minha mãe experimentar. Se ficar bom, eu termino. Senão, vou desmanchar.

C)Baby Blanket , eu terminei (iuhu!).

I don't know what to knit right now... I wanted another February Baby Sweater, but 3 is too much! So while I search for the next pattern on Ravelry, I am finishing my old projects:
1 Shawl: love the yarn, boring pattern. So I will knit it slowly. No rush

2. Red Sweater: It didn't fit nice on me. It is too big... so I asked my mom to try it on. If it is nice on her, I will finish it. Otherwise, frog!

3. Baby Blanket: I finished the blanket, now I need to knit the border ( I know I should have knitted together, but there was a reason, at that time, not to do so). I tried to knit i-cord, crochet, changed color... didn't like anything. So I picked up sts and will knit garter.

Tagged!

Recebi hoje a mensagem da Domestic-miss me colocando nesta corrente... e aceitei!

I was tagged by Domestic-Miss and I will play that!

The Rules: each player answers the questions. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 or 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

1. What I was doing 10 years ago: I went to NYC for business and met a ex-boyfriend who was doing his MBA there. We started dating again and to be close to him, I decided to apply for an MBA as well. When I moved to the US, in 1999, we were not together anymore. However, this world is very small, and today we are married! :-)

2. What 5 things are on on my to-do list for today (in no particular order):

  • check if the red sweater fits my mom. Otherwise, I will frog it!
  • take Vladmir (Russian Blue) to take a shot at the Vet
  • call Atelier Gourmand to confirm my class on Monday
  • lunch with Lu
  • go to the Supermarket (which I hate!)

3. Snacks I enjoy: Cashew nuts and "Goiabinha"

4. Things I would do if I was a billionaire: Travel a lot!!!

5. Places I have lived in: São Paulo, Chapel Hill NC (USA), Princeton NJ (USA), Rotterdam (Netherlands)

So now I am tagging: Tricotando por acaso, Do trico a decoupagem, Eu tricoto, A Tricoteira, lanas y tramas
